This is a quick update for the instrument The Criminal as there is a bug that has been found and fixed.
What's wrong?
After closing and reopening Kontakt the key switch didn't stay as it was left in the session before and was always reset to C. The problem has been found and solved with a simple line of code. Now if you select a key switch, close Kontakt and reopen everything after saving your session, then the last key switch you selected should be active again.
Do I have the right version?
If you have downloaded the instrument after 23.02.2023, then you should have the correct version installed. To check this, please head into the instrument and click the ranch icon, go to the script tab and check the first line of code.
How to fix it easy!
Fixing this bug is easy, as it only needs one line of code added.
- Open up the script editor as seen in the step above.
- Go to Line 62
- Now add "read_persistent_var( $activeNote )" as seen in the screenshot below.
Don't forget to save the instrument and overwrite the older file. Now repeat this with the different patches.
